Durham High School -

YSSF US Open Nationals 2026 at Clark County Shooting Range in Las Vegas. The Durham High Shooting Club Shooters took 1st place in the High five by 24 clays and they took 1st place in the number 1 squad by even more. They competed up against 26 squads for the title. To top it all off, Adam Simpson got the highest score of the competition with an impressive 196. All 5 shooters came to shoot. Adam Simpson, Jacob Hayes, Hank Simmons, Rowan Turnquist and Jake Dunlap. These 5 were the team to beat in Vegas. They didn't let it happen.

The Durham High Shooting Club won the State Championships this weekend. We won the High 5, (5 top shooters on a team) with 960 out of 1000. We also earned top squad in our division with a 955. Now off to Nathionals in Vegas in July! Congratulations!!

The Senior Walk -Through is this Wednesday starting around 10 am.
