Sports: Varsity Girls Basketball are in the NSCIF playoffs tonight at Home against Mt. Shasta @ 7:00pm; gate fee is $8 & $5 with ASB card. Varsity Boys Basketball are seeded 4th for their playoffs on Friday at 7:00pm against Colusa. Due to games tonight and tomorrow, the locker rooms and gym will be locked at 5:00pm.

**Interested in being a Math Tutor and earning an income; see Mrs. Coutts. **Congratulations to the five ladies that competed in the Lions Club Speakers Contest. Hunter Haslem, Zoe Knowles, Kira Montgomery, Mary Mills and Daisy Arvonen did an outstanding job. Zoe Knowles edged out the competition and won $100 and will be moving on to the next competition level on March 7th. Congratulations Ladies you all should be very proud of yourselves.

Student Center:

**A T-shirt Design Contest is being held through the Every 15 Minute Program which focuses on the ramifications of drinking alcohol and driving. Design entries should be outlined in black ink or felt tip pen and be a simple design with little detail. For more info, see the flyers around school. Turn in your entry by Wed., February 26 to the Office.

**Shady Creek Counselor Applications are due this week; turn them in at the Office. **The SCUD dance is set for Saturday, March 14th.

Fundraiser: The Annual Almond Blossom Run is Sunday, Feb 23. 100% of Almond Blossom Run proceeds support DIS and DHS athletic teams as well DHS graduating seniors with scholarships! Get your Tickets on-line for this family-friendly event!

Due to vandalism in the boys locker room, it will be closed today and tomorrow after 5th period through the end of the day for the next 2 days. We will open it up again next week, but if the graffiti and vandalism continues, the locker room will only be opened for PE classes and after school.
